Non Verbal memory 

CORE MEANING:

The body functions as an archive. Experience leaves marks even when the mind can not remember it.

CLINICAL DESCRIPTION:

A condition in which experience is retained through physical inscription rather than narrative recall.

Events that disappear from conscious memory persist as bodily traces:

marks, tensions, reflexes, and altered responses to touch or pressure.

SYMPTOMS:

-Bodily reactions without obvious psychological cause

-Skin, posture, or gestures reflecting prior contact or pressure

-The body reacting before the mind understands

PROGNOSIS:

Somatic memory does not vanish with forgetting.

It remains embedded in organism until new experiences gradually alter the body's responses.
