Second Skin takes place inside an old observatory. Dressed in black rubber, the figure moves through the stripped cupola of the building. The set focuses on the use of styling as a way of managing vulnerability. Here, the rubber does not simply change appearance, it creates distance, discipline and a stronger sense of self.
