Gerascophobia uses sepia tones and distressed textures. The portraits feel like damaged family photographs or remains from a forgotten nursery. They oscillate between nostalgia and quiet horror. As the surfaces become more worn and the dolls more damaged, the set develops a decaying atmosphere.
